Huge, cobalt blue, Krobo, central bead (26mm X 33mm) with "Duck's Blood" Bohemian, red glass trade beads (20mm X 23mm), with copper/brass round (18mm X 20mm) and triangular (24mm X 21mm) wire work beads from Ghana, 22 inch long necklace. Finally, these beads have been strung together using a laborious and intricate macrame technique.

Krobo beads are contemporary, hand-made, recycled glass beads from West Africa. The luminescent colors are both dramatic and compelling.

To have survived to the present, these beads have been cherished by their previous owners. To best care for this necklace, it is recommended that you store it flat and separate from other jewelry to reduce the chance of damage to your beads. To maintain the wonderful old patina, it is recommended that you do not polish these metal beads. We hope you enjoy and treasure your necklace as much as its previous owners have!
